Welcome to Cottonwood Women
the Women's Ministry of Cottonwood Baptist Church

Our purpose is to encourage women to pursue a growing, passionate relationship with God through support, fellowship and discipleship. We strive to provide many opportunities to help women grow in relationship with Christ; to live the abundant life that Jesus promised, a life of joy and freedom; and to have relationships that are healthy and fulfilling.

         Making Your Home a Refuge

We all need a place to run to, a place where we can  breathe. We want our homes to be a place of joy and  peace, a warm place where family and friends are comfortable.

This will be a 10 week study, with three parts.

1. It begins with You

You set the tone of your home. Do you bring an atmosphere of peace, joy, and contentment? Do you help make your home a refuge for yourself, your family, and guests? This will deal with our emotions and behaviors, seeking God’s work to transform us.

2. Reflecting peace in our Relationships

Are your relationships peaceful and joyful? Do you relate well with family members and friends? How can we raise children to be Godly followers and lovers of Jesus?

3. Your home, a place of peace and refuge

Is your home a place that welcomes guests?    This will also include some practical tips for successful home making.
